I am one of “those people” who totally loves holiday parties.
There is something so special about spending a warm and festive evening with family and friends. Sitting around a warm fire, taking photos and enjoying the festivities together. I love making new memories every year, and I love going the extra mile to make those get-togethers extra special.
One thing that’s important when creating a memorable gathering is to allow ourselves, the hosts, to enjoy it as well by putting as little stress on ourselves as possible. To assemble them, begin by filling glasses with chocolate liquor. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate gelt shavings.
I like to decorate the tray with more gelt, flowers, dreidals etc.
- Chocolate gelt (chocolate coins)
- Chocolate liquor, I like Bicerin
- Whipped cream, I like Reddi Wip
- With the smallest side of a grater, grate the chocolate gelt into a bowl. Set aside.
- Fill shot glasses with chocolate liquor. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with the chocolate shavings.
- Serve on a tray or board.
