I am in love with this table setting. Not just because it’s so easy, but also because of the varied heights of the fruit, the complimentary colors, and I love that it cost me $0 to make.
The nice thing about this table setting concept is that you can mix and match any dishes and silverware you already own. I mixed some vintage turquoise plates and vintage floral stitched napkins with new plates, silverware, drinking glasses and a table runner.
I made the citrus centerpiece (which you can find the instructions for HERE) out of fresh fruit because I knew that would be something I had plenty of in the house for the holiday, and I wouldn’t have to purchase anything on top of what I had already planned- I make sure to have plenty of fresh fruit around for every holiday for my family and guests to enjoy 🙂

This table runner is also very special to me because it was a birthday gift.
I never thought I would want drinking glasses, table runners and silver candy dishes as birthday gifts…but I do!

This is a really cute idea if you have this many lemons lying around 😉 or if you’re planning on making something that calls for lots of lemons after your guests have left.
(I really like using produce and ingredients for as many uses as possible. For example, if I know I’m making something with lots of lemons a few days after I have guests over, I’ll buy them early and repurpose them-like I did here for my table setting idea).

You can find the Step-by-Step Citrus Centerpiece Guide HERE.
Again, this table setting is about using what you have around the house. If you don’t have berry baskets you can use pretty bowls, vases filled with a few flowers or even small planted herbs.

I love little seasonal touches around the house like this tulip plant.
