Frozen Red Wine Marinated Grapes

Serves: 3 cups
  • 3 cups red grapes, removed from stem
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest, optional
  • 6-7 tablespoons granulated sugar
  1. In a large container, mix the grapes, red wine and zest (if using). Place in the refrigerator and allow them to marinate overnight.
  2. Drain the grapes well, discard the zest, and coat in the sugar. Place them in the freezer for 2 hours, or until completely frozen.
  3. If using zest, you can sprinkle more on top of the grapes just before serving.
