When you’re a guest in someone’s home, whether it be to sleep, for a meal or for a party, it’s always appropriate to give a thoughtful gift. Although I appreciate any gift I receive, when I’m hosting a meal, I usually have flowers and wine already (a guest’s usual go-to). So I like to think outside the box when giving a gift-something for the host to enjoy on his or her own when all the guests have left.
My matzah granola (recipe HERE) is really easy to make, and so delicious. It makes for a great snack or breakfast (perhaps sprinkled over yogurt). To make it into a matzah granola hostess gift, simply place the granola into a pretty jar or box, wrap with a ribbon and you’ve just made a really thoughtful, simple gift any hostess would appreciate.
What’s also great about this granola recipe is that it makes a lot, so there is plenty to keep some for yourself and plenty to give away 😉
